Adaptive Bowling

Roll with it!

Bowling offers rewarding challenges while improving hand-eye coordination, balance, strength and concentration. This program is for people with disabilities who are interested in meeting new people while developing adaptive bowling skills. Adaptive equipment is available for people with a wide range of abilities. Class offered by Courage Kenny Rehabiliation Institute’s adaptive sports & recreation department. NOTE: It may be possible to join this class after the series starts; call to inquire.

Who it is for

Individuals with disabilities.  All individuals must be independent in personal care or they must have a personal care attendant or family member.

What to expect

Most weeks you will bowl two to three games. Volunteers are there to assist to help get the ball, use a bowling ramp, or give simple tips and tricks. An additional fee of typically $2 per game will be due each week to the Park Tavern.

Fee information

Cost is $50 for 9 weeks, multiple sessions are offered throughout the year. An additional fee of $2 per game bowled due to the Park Tavern the day of.

No participant will be turned away due to financial hardships. Cost sharing and scholarships are available. Contact CKRIsportsrecreation@allina.com for more information.
