I am passionate about: helping kids grow into healthy, self-sufficient adults. My own children are my inspiration and I provide the same care for my patients as I do my children.
If I wasn't a pediatrician, I would be a: teacher. One of my favorite parts of being a pediatrician is educating patients. I love everything from talking about car and bike safety to helping parents how best to care for an ill child.
I became a doctor because: I have always loved working with children. When I discovered my passion for science and medicine, I immediately knew pediatrics was the right path to combine both interests into a fulfilling career.
Something I have learned from my patients is: that every family is unique. There are lots of "right" ways to raise kids and the key is to find the best fit for each family. My families know that I will take the time to listen and to address each of their concerns.
My personal health goal is: to complete a triathlon.
