Kelsey Hultman, MD

I am a board-certified family medicine physician with professional interests in obstetrics, pediatrics, women's health and preventive care. 

Hometown: Cambridge, MN

Most people don’t know about: my love for animals. I have had numerous pets in my life, and I foster animals as often as I am able.

If I wasn’t a doctor, I would be a: National Geographic photographer. I would love to have the opportunity to travel the world and immerse myself into new cultural experiences, while being inspired by the creativity that photography encourages.

I became a doctor because: I have been fascinated by the science and art of medicine since I was young. I developed a passion for family medicine and the ability to care for patients in their entirety. I enjoy working together with patients throughout all aspects of their lives to achieve their health goals.

One of the challenges of this career that I enjoy is: working with children and their families to establish a healthy lifestyle at a young age to promote health, happiness and longevity. 

The best thing I have done for my health is: buying locally grown and raised food whenever possible.

My personal health challenge is: getting motivated to live a more active lifestyle; therefore, I have joined community education classes and started taking advantage of the outdoors by kayaking and hiking more to rediscover activities that I enjoy doing. 

Some of my personal achievements are: providing medical care to Costa Rican and Nicaraguan communities in need and volunteering at an orphanage. This mission trip ignited my passion for healthcare equality and international medicine.
