Spiritual direction is based on the idea that you are most healthy when your body, mind and spirit are balanced and non-anxious. This service allows you to consider your relationship with the divine presence in the universe - whatever that means to you. It can benefit individuals regardless of religious affiliations or spiritual beliefs.
Wolpert is a Presbyterian minister and cofounder of the Minnesota Institute of Contemplation and Healing. A student of the spiritual life since age 21, he has taught in the fields of psychology and spiritual formation in numerous settings. In addition, he provides counseling and spiritual direction services.
He has a bachelor's degree in genetics from University of California, Berkley; a master's degree in clinical psychology from what is now Naropa University in Boulder, Colo.; and a master's degree in divinity from San Francisco Theological Seminary.
