Best part of my work: I am passionate about helping patients transform their lives with the tool of surgery and in the most healthy way possible. Each patient has a unique story with different barriers for change and the most rewarding part of my job is coming up with an individualized treatment plan that addresses these barriers and allows me to cheerlead them along the way.
Why I became a dietitian: I have a personal interest in obesity and bariatric surgery. Obesity runs in my family, and I have a close family member who has had bariatric surgery.
