I'm a board-certified family medicine physician with professional interests in pediatric care, adolescent health, contraception and weight management.
I am passionate about: about partnering with patients to improve their health. I enjoy providing information to help my patients make educated decisions to fit their life.
If I wasn't a physician, I would be a: research scientist because I have always loved science and exploring ways to improve modern medicine.
My favorite movie is: probably the Notebook because I love sappy romance movies. My favorite book is anything I’m reading to my son. My favorite destinations are Duluth and the North Shore because it's always beautiful and full of adventure.
I became a physician because: I want to help people be as healthy as they can be. I always had medicine in my mind, but in college, I finally decided that it was the career I wanted to pursue.
Something I have learned from my patients is: that listening to my patients is the best way to find the problem.
One of the challenges of this career that I enjoy is: that it's constantly changing, which also makes it exciting. Staying current on the latest research helps me offer the best care for my patients.
My personal health goal is: to be active every day and to start doing yoga.
