Robert Marshall, MD

I am a board-certified pediatrician with professional interests in asthma, preventive care and sports medicine. 

I am also seeing patients during our children's walk-in hours, Monday through Friday, 10 a.m. to noon. The children's walk-in clinic is for kids 18 and younger who need to be seen for illness and injury, including colds, fever, ear pain, sore throat, twisted ankles, pink eye and rashes. Current patients and kids new to our clinic are welcomed.

I'm passionate about: family, fishing and hockey. My family is irreplaceable; they are so supportive and loving, and I would not be where I am today without them.  I love being on the water, the challenge of catching fish and the excitement of the hook. I enjoy coaching and playing hockey because I love watching the kids improve and seeing them have fun. 

If I wasn't a provider, I would be: an actor. Several times I've been asked if I was in theater and told that I look comfortable in front of a crowd. I don't know if I would be good at it or not, but it would be an interesting adventure.

My favorite movie is: the Miracle. It's the best hockey movie there is. My favorite book is Uncommon by Tony Dungy. My favorite destination is Disney World because it has been a great, family-friendly vacation spot for our family.

I became a pediatrician because: I'm a people-person and have always wanted to work with people.  Interactions with a family friend, whom is a physician, inspired me to work with people and impact lives.  My first inspiration to become a physician was around age 14, but became my solid decision as a senior in high school.

Something I've learned from my patients is: that every patient is unique and must be treated as such.
