If I wasn’t a provider, I would be a: nature guide on camping, hiking or kayaking trips.
My favorite movie is: Bridesmaids because it makes me laugh to my core.
I knew I wanted to be a doctor when: I was in elementary school. My grandfather had diabetes and I wanted to find a cure so he wouldn’t be sick. I learned very young, that diet and exercise was important in keeping my grandfather healthy.
I’ve learned from my patients: that the relationship between a physician and patient is very unique. It must be nurtured by educating patients with the knowledge to live a healthier life.
One of the challenges of my career that I enjoy is: talking to patients about lifestyle changes.
My personal health goal is: to play tennis competitively.
The best thing I’ve done for my health is: to be more aware of the foods I’m eating.
My hero is: my mom, who went back to school later in life to become a nurse. She has inspired me to follow my dreams.
