Best part of my work: Hands down the best part of my work is the relationships I have with my patients and their families. I get to "play" with kids all day long; best job in the world!
Why I became a pediatrician: I was drawn to pediatrics for two reasons: the first is because of the ongoing, long-term relationships with my families, watching "our kids" grow. The second is because I love to teach and there is a lot of teaching involved in being a pediatrician.
Favorite health tip: Wear your bike helmets and get your flu shot. We all would be happier and healthier if everyone did.
How I spend my free time: Reading, gardening, family activities, outdoor activities.

Practice philosophy: My job is to help my patients and their families encourage exploration and development, obtain and maintain good health and for each patient to achieve his/her highest potential. I think of my patients as "my kids" and care deeply about each and every one of them.
