Jennifer Wilson, CNP

I am a board-certified family nurse practitioner with professional interests in women's health, adult health and pediatrics. 

I’m passionate about: creating balance in my life. For me, it is important to be fully present wherever I am, whether it be home with my family or at work with my co-workers and patients.

If I wasn’t a provider, I would be a: yoga instructor. I love the peace and balance yoga brings to my life, and I would like to share that with others.

My favorite destination is: New York City. I grew up traveling there with my family, and have continued to travel there over the years. I love the energy of the city.

I became a provider because: I love helping others, and I have thorougly enjoyed being a RN for the past seven years. I knew that I wanted to become a provider to help people achieve the best health possible, and be able to spend more time enjoying life with their family and friends

My patients have taught me to: never make assumptions. By keeping an open mind and asking questions, it helps me to provide the best care to my patients.

One of the challenges of my career that I enjoy is: the continuous learning that goes along with providing the best care possible for my patients. There’s an endless amount to know and learn, but I love being able to grow every day with these new challenges.

My personal health goal is: to model a healthy lifestyle for my little girl and to complete a half marathon.

The best health advice I’ve received is: to avoid processed foods as much as possible.

I’m most proud of: my healthy little girl and completing my advanced degree in nursing.

A few of my personal achievements include: running the 10 mile Monster Dash in 2012. Planning a wedding and getting married in 2013, while completing my graduate program.
