I am passionate about: books. I spent a lot of time during my childhood reading, particularly series like Little House on the Prairie and Anne of Green Gables. It gave me a way to explore what life was like in a different time and really get to know the characters. Now, I try to expand from fiction to really anything that I find interesting.

If I wasn't a doctor, I would be a: coffee shop owner. I love that they are such a community gathering place and I start every day with coffee!

I knew I wanted to be a doctor: because I thought it would be a great way to promote wellness and assist in diagnosing and treating medical conditions. It is a unique privilege to care for women at all stages throughout their lives, but no moment is more special than helping parents meet their new baby.

Something I have learned from my patients is: that trust between the doctor and patient is so important to the relationship.

Personal fitness goal is: to try walking 10,000 steps every day.

I am most proud of: that my children are healthy and happy.
