Practice philosophy: As an integrative nutritionist, I use "a food as medicine" approach to help people achieve improved health. Whether for general health, or disease prevention or management, I can meet you where you are to work on large or small dietary and lifestyle changes and goal setting.
Best part of my work: Through my experiences with functional and integrative nutrition, I find that patients are much more engaged and excited about taking control of their health.
Why I became a provider: I became an integrative nutritionist because even though I ate healthy and exercised on a regular basis, I still didn't feel that I had great health. After doing more research and finding other like-minded health professionals, I found whole foods and specific supplementation helped me to have more energy, sleep better and have mental clarity. In addition, I have a close family member with ADHD who has been helped greatly through dietary changes, nutrition supplementation, and working with an integrative pediatrician.
