I am a board-certified family physician assistant with professional interests in women’s health, pediatric care, preventive medicine, adolescent medicine, anxiety, depression, chronic disease management and diabetes.
If I wasn’t a provider, I would be a: science teacher. I love educating children and teens, and if it was not for my amazing science teachers growing up, I probably would not have found my love for medicine.
Something I have learned from my patients is: that education and patient understanding is very important. It is important to me that every patient leaves understanding the treatment plan and gets all their questions answered.
My personal health goal is: to watch less TV and to be motivated to exercise after work.
The best thing I have done for my health is: to concentrate on reducing stress by focusing on getting more sleep, exercising, and investing in massages.
I am passionate about: running, hiking, cooking, playing with my dog, and spending time with friends and family.
