Bjorn Bakken, MD
My specialties:
- Internal medicine
Hometown: Duluth, MN
Why you became a physician: What started as a fascination with the human body and what it's capable of transitioned into a desire to help people realize their innermost potential--my ultimate goal is to promote health through activity.
Fun fact about yourself: I was once a proud member a group called the Barefoot Hikers of Minnesota!
How you like to spend your free time: The first thing I do when I have free time is head outdoors. I prefer any form of skiing--cross country, telemark, downhill--over all other forms of activity, but I'm happy just as long as I'm out in the woods, even if its just to go out hunting for mushrooms. "It is better to go skiing on Sunday and think of God than to sit in church and think of skiing" -- Fridtjof Nansen
