Why you became a physician: I considered many career paths, but ultimately nothing gave me as much purpose and meaning as a career in which I could encounter people in some of the most significant moments of their lives. I wanted to walk through these moments with them, especially those who had no one else to walk with.

Fun fact about yourself: I play a number of different instruments (guitar, piano, ukulele, tin whistle, bodhran). I am a member of a four-person folk/Irish band called “The Beardies.”

How you like to spend your free time: Family, family, family. Also reading, music, and time outdoors.
