Why you became a physician: Becoming a doctor was the greatest opportunity to impact someone’s life. This was later solidified when I understood that through knowledge and compassion I could make this a reality. For me it’s a gift to care for people. I could never imagine being something else than a physician.
Fun fact about yourself: I am a proud Costa Rican who now embraces winters and calls herself Minnesotan.
How you like to spend your free time: I enjoy as much time as I can with my husband and dog Oliver. My husband and I enjoy learning about monarchies.
