Why you became a physician: I knew I wanted to become a physician the summer after I graduated from high school. I was working at a skilled nursing facility in my hometown of Oconomowoc, Wisconsin and was able to work with some of the physicians and nurses that worked there. There is something very unique and special about the physician- patient interaction and that’s why I went into medicine.

Fun fact about yourself: I was once a contestant on the Price is Right $$$!  I got called on down but wasn’t lucky enough to get off contestant’s row.

How you like to spend your free time: I spend the majority of my free time with my wife and baby. I enjoy hiking, going to the lake cabin in western Minnesota, sailing.
