Why you became a physician: In college, I studied behavioral economics and sought to understand how the healthcare system works and how doctors make decisions. Through that process, I learned not only that I wanted to be a doctor, but also how I wanted to practice medicine.  

Fun fact about yourself: I grew up in Massachusetts, and when I learned that my wife (a native Minnesotan) grew up playing “Duck, Duck, Grey Duck” I thought, for sure, she was pulling my leg.

How you like to spend your free time: I am an amateur cook, an avid explorer of new neighborhoods, and a frequent guest at my daughter’s tea parties.
