I am family medicine physician assistant with professional interests in pediatric and adolescent care, women's health, preventive medicine and dermatology.

If I wasn’t a provider, I would be a: realtor, because I love working with people, and I love looking at home design and architecture.  I would enjoy the challenge of listening to people’s wants and needs and helping them find the perfect home to make new memories in.

Something I have learned from my patients is: that it is essential to listen and get to know each patient, since they each have unique backgrounds, personalities, and future goals. I find it so rewarding to support and educate patients, helping guide them on their path to improved health.

One of the challenges I enjoy is: that I constantly learn new things, both on a day-to-day basis as I get to know my patients, and as I do continuing education to stay up to date on changes and advances in medicine.

My personal health goal is to: work on healthy meal planning, so that even on busy days and weeks, I will have nutritious meal options ready for my family.

The best health advice I've received is: “An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure.” Make healthy choices now, and reap the benefits for the rest of your life.  

I'm most proud of: my family. Being a mother has been the greatest experience of my life so far.  It has also made me a more patient, empathetic person, which I know has positively impacted me as a provider.
