My practice philosophy: is based on belief that midwifery is a science as much as an art. By providing holistic and culturally sensitive care, I strive to focus on the individual and recognize each woman’s unique strengths and needs. I believe that birth is a normal physiological process.
I have confidence, trust, and respect for women and their capabilities to give birth. I am honored to be with women as they go through normal changes in their lives including puberty, childbearing age, and menopause.
As a provider of care, I would like to empower women to assume responsibilities for their health and health of their families by providing evidence-based information and help women make informed decisions.
If I wasn't a provider, I would be a: veterinarian. If I was not helping people, I would be helping animals.
I am most proud of: the birth of my second daughter, it was a waterbirth.
