I am board-certified in internal medicine and pediatrics. I have professional interests in routine pediatric and adolescent care, preventive health for both adults and children, and providing care for adult survivors of childhood cancer. I also have a special interest in pediatric obesity disease and I work one day per week at the Allina Health Weight Management - Abbott Northwestern clinic seeing kids, teens and young adults.

Best part of my patient visit: I mostly enjoy getting to know the person who is my patient.
Why I became a physician: I love science and the miraculous creation of the human body. I have always loved learning about any topic pertaining to health and the human body. Because of this love, I decided that I wanted to be a doctor in the 5th grade and I have never regretted the decision.
How I spend my free time: Jogging, baking and cooking, reading, and spending time with my husband.
Favorite health tip: You need to take care of yourself in order to better care for the people around you.
Practice philosophy: I enjoy getting to know the entire family and helping families learn how to improve their health and well-being. I love having the opportunity to watch families and children grow through the years.
