Best part of my work: As patients progress with weight loss, experience resolution of diabetes, high blood pressure, sleep apnea and many other medical problems, their life changes in many ways. It is a pleasure to help patients achieve lifelong weight loss success.
Why I became a health care provider: My background includes experience in surgery and primary care. I was able to treat patients who had diabetes and complex medical issues in the primary care setting. Surgical weight loss intrigued me, because of the dramatic improvement for patients who had diabetes. This inspired me to work in surgical weight loss to help patients overcome obesity and improve multiple medical issues, while improving their quality of life.
