Why I became a physician:  There were significant medical problems in my family growing up - I was inspired to help people with these types of challenges.

What I tell my friends and family: Regular moderate exercise and good sleeping habits are the most important factors in enhancing and preserving your health.

How I spend my free time: Playing guitar - both in my studio and with my band, traveling to new places, art, movies and sometimes theatre.

Practice philosophy: Listening to the patients history is the most important part of the doctor-patient relationship.I strive to counsel the patient on good health practices as well as involve them in the decisions around their health. 

I strive to provide personalized and up-to-date health care to my patients. I value a strong doctor-patient relationship. This relationship is based on both patient education and patient involvement in their health care decisions.

I was also an excellent student in the sciences and actually did cancer research while still in high school.
