I am a board-certified physician specializing in adult gerontology with a clinical fellowship in adult hospital internal medicine. My professional interests include high blood pressure, diabetes and preventive care. I accept adult patients.

I currently serve as the lead physician/medical director at Allina Health Bloomington Clinic and my administrative and clinical team and I would like to be your partner in helping to ensure your best health.

Best part of my work: By far, my favorite part is getting to know my patients as people. These personal connections go a long way in building trust and confidence.

Why I became a physician: Medicine was the only career path I had considered while in school. The human body and its functions fascinate me.

What I tell friends and family: Be the best advocate for yourself. Don’t be afraid to ask questions or clarify what you don’t understand.

How I spend my free time: I am an artist and a writer. Painting and penning my thoughts is rejuvenating. I also enjoy reading with my children and my husband.
