I am a board-certified family medicine physician with professional interests in preventive medicine, mental health, pediatrics and high blood pressure.
I knew I wanted to be a doctor: after spending every summer as a volunteer at the VA in Michigan. It instilled in me a sense of compassion.
I’m passionate about: helping others. It gives me a sense of purpose and helps me become a better individual.
One of the challenges in my career that I enjoy is: addressing mental health, as it is just as important as physical health.
The best health advice I've received is: there is no such thing as a diet. It is about making lifestyle changes.
My favorite memory is: successfully completing my first year of medical school in India. Having grown up in the US, overcoming the stark differences in cultures was a huge triumph for me.
I am proud of: becoming more adventurous and trying different things. I recently ran my first 15k!
